Sorry it has taken me so long between posts. We have changed our band rehearsals to Saturdays from 1:30 to 3:00.
Those are Comstock times so they are subject to flexiblity. Call us at 775-847-0424 to doublecheck that day. We have made a lovely little LIZARD LOUNGE for your listening pleasure. Stop in, have a seat, chat and listen to the band. That's at Doodads Emporium, Silver City, NV.
You can't miss us, it's on the main street right next to the Silver CIty post office. That's SILVER CITY just 4 miles south of Virginia City. Coming up from Reno, just drive right thru VC and down the hill on the other side.

Red Rose plays original and fun tunes we enjoy from a variety of artists. We play grooving, positive vibes music. We are enjoyable for all ages.







Red Rose is the brainchild of Singer Songwriter Guitarist Playwright Will Rose. Nevada native, Will has traveled extensively across the United States and Europe performing and writing/singing about his experiences. Will has worked with, among others, the Four Tops, Meatloaf, The Checkmates, the Late Freddy Bell, Lon Bronson's Big Band, Doug Kershaw, Alex Acuna, The Platters, and various Las Vegas production shows and Broadway musicals. He was the guitarist on Taxi and Cheers, as well as in movie soundtracks. He has written the scores for musicals as well as forming his own Musical Production company with his wife, Sheree. He has fronted several of his own bands over the years, ie: Shakey Jake, Rapid Transit, Will Rose and the Repeat Offenders, Scatter Blues, Melange, The Right On Roadshow and currently Red Rose.

The latest adventure has been into the showcasing of Will's songs. To do this Red Rose enlisted the talents of fan Theo McCormick, the creator of this website and editor/do it all videographer for Red Rose. The results are now on YouTube, and available on DigStation, CDBaby, and iTunes. Theo's the greatest.

We had such fun with our SONG OF THE DAY VIDEO series on YouTube that we are fixing to do more. You can see the series with an easy link feature on our web site. We hope these short videos will give you a humorous glimpse into the creative minds that regularly play with Will And Sheree in the band Red Rose. The new videos will be shot at Doodads with a variety of musical characters.

This is a window into the creation and evolution of music; it's as if you could visit Will every day and watch he and his friends make music. This is not a highly produced project but rather a raw view into musical creation that we hope will entertain you. Will has a catalog of over 400 songs he has written and he is constantly writing new ones. Please let us know what you think of the SONG OF THE DAY.

Will and I have opened up a shop in Silver City. It's called "DOODADS" Cybercafe and Emporium. We're right on the main drag in Silver City, next to the Post Office. You can't miss us, we painted DOODADS a bright red and trimmed it in Rasta colors. You'll see our dog, Rasta, hanging out on the front porch. He makes a great greeter and a good conversation starter.
